Our lead developer and educational consultant holds advanced degrees in both Computer Science and Educational Technology. Having spent years developing curriculum and assessing student performance at the collegiate level, our team understands the nuances of syllabus construction. We noticed a significant gap in the market: most online calculators were either confusing, riddled with intrusive ads, or lacked the mathematical nuance to handle real-world syllabi (such as weights that don't total 100%).

To bridge this gap, we engineered this platform from the ground up using pure vanilla JavaScript for maximum speed and security. Our algorithms perfectly mirror the weighted average and GPA calculations used by major academic institutions worldwide.

In an era where personal data is constantly harvested, we chose a different path. Grade-Calculator.tech operates entirely client-side. When you enter your grades and assignment names, the calculations occur locally within your own internet browser. We do not store, track, or intercept your academic data. It remains completely private.
